Employment laws and regulations are extremely complicated and constantly changing. And with little compliance support from state agencies, small business owners are left on their own and overwhelmed, as these agencies seem more interested in finding wrongdoing than helping them.
Small business is not the enemy. It is the primary driver of our economy, with nearly 400,000 small businesses operating in Oregon. Our elected leaders should be focused on prioritizing an environment that fosters small business growth.
