• Help elect small business champions this November — without spending a dime

As the November election approaches, it's time to consider the impact our elected officials have on small business in Oregon. Our business climate is shaped by the decisions made by elected leaders, and the decisions of voters will shape our elected leadership.

Oregonians have a unique opportunity to support candidates who stand for small business—and it doesn’t have to cost you anything! The Oregon Political Tax Credit allows taxpayers to contribute up to $50 per person or $100 for joint filers to a political campaign of your choice, and receive every dollar of it back when you file your taxes. And since it is a credit, it will either lower the amount you owe or increase your refund by that amount. (Please note that current Oregon law allows individuals with an adjusted gross income of less than $75,000 — or joint filers with a combined income of less than $150,000 — to claim the Political Tax Credit.)

This means you can support candidates who prioritize small businesses without spending a dime.

By using this tax credit, you can help ensure that Oregon’s Capitol is filled with leaders who will work to protect small businesses and allow them to thrive, foster innovation, create jobs, and maintaining the vibrant communities we all cherish.

The Defend Small Business PAC is dedicated to electing champions who will advocate for policies that help small businesses thrive and drive economic growth – but we can’t do it without you.

Small donations make a big difference. Let’s elect leaders who are committed to the success of small businesses in Oregon and build a brighter future for our state. Will you stand with us?
